These Terms of Service outline the rules and regulations for using our website and purchasing our art. By accessing this website and/or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use this website.

 

1. ACCEPTABLE USE & PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You must be 18 years old or have parental permission.

By using this website, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from: 

Misuse of site - Attempting to interfere with the proper working of the website, including uploading viruses, trojans, or other malicious software.

Data Scraping - Using any automated system (robots, spiders, or scrapers ) to harvest data or images from this site for any purpose.

Fraudulent Activity - Providing false information, such as a fake email address, or impersonating any person or entity to make a purchase.

Harassment - Using any contact forms or review sections to transmit defamatory, obscene, or harassing content.

 

2. ORDERS AND PAYMENTS

Orders are processed securely via Stripe. We currently accept Bank Cards and Amazon Pay. All prices are shown in GBP and are subject to change without notice. As a small business, we are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. The price you see is the price you pay. All sales are subject to availability and confirmation.

All personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

3. DELIVERY

Delivery Regions - 

United Kingdom only

Delivery Methods -

Free delivery.

Orders are sent via Royal Mail ( Letter 2nd Class, Large Letter 2nd Class, Large Letter Tracked 48, Small Parcel Tracked 48, Medium Parcel Tracked 48) 

Processing Time -

Orders are processed and dispatched within 3–5 business days

Handmade or custom items may take slightly longer

Delivery Time - 

Royal Mail Letter 2nd Class & Royal Mail Large Letter 2nd Class : aims to deliver in 2-3 working days

Royal Mail Tracked 48 services: aims to deliver in  2 - 3 working days

Delivery times may vary depending on location  

Delivery Costs -

We offer Free Delivery so no delivery costs

Responsibility - 

Once dispatched, delivery is the responsibility of the carrier

We are not liable for delays caused by postal services or other third parties

4. RETURNS AND REFUND POLICY FOR CATHY'S ART*

We want you to love your purchase from Cathy's Art*. If you need to return an item, please follow our policy below

RETURNS

Returns Window -

You have 14 days from delivery to request a return

How to start a return -

To start the process, please email us at

with your order number. Once approved, we will send you a downloadable PDF shipping label via email. You must print this label and attach it to your package.

Return conditions -

Item condition - Items must be returned in their original condition in original packaging

Accepted Reasons - We accept returns for both defective products (damaged or incorrect items) and non-defective products (e.g you changed your mind )

Return Shipping Fees -

Defective products - If your item is faulty or damaged we will provide the return shipping label at no cost to you.

Customer Remorse - For Standard returns (e.g you no longer want the item), the cost of the Royal Mail return shipping label will be deducted from your final refund.

Restocking Fees - We do not charge any re stocking fees

Refunds - Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email. Approved refunds are processed automatically back to your original payment method (via Stripe) within -10 business days

Exchanges - We do not offer exchanges

5. PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNT CODES 

From time to time, Cathy's Art * may offer promotional discounts, coupon codes, or special offers. These promotions are subject to change or cancellation at any time without notice. Unless otherwise stated, offers are valid for one use per customer, cannot be combined with other promotions, and apply only to eligible products as described in the offer. Expiration dates and any additional terms will be clearly stated on the promotional material

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & COPYRIGHT

All content included on this site, such as graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Cathy's Art*or its content suppliers and protected by United Kingdom and international copyright laws.

Ownership of Artwork - The purchase of a physical product (including but not limited to Original Paintings, Cards, Keyrings, Bookmarks, and Prints ) does not transfer copyright or any reproduction rights to the buyer. All rights to the artwork remain the sole property of the artist, Cathy Gregory.

Prohibited Commercial Use - You are strictly prohibited from:

Reproducing, duplicating, or copying any artwork for commercial purposes.

Scanning or photographing artwork to create digital files for resale or distribution.

Creating "derivative works" (e.g., using a painting's likeness to create a new product) without express written prints from Cathy's Art*

Permitted Personal Use: - You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to display the purchased physical artwork in your home or private office. You may share photos of your purchased items on social media, provided that Cathy's Art* is credited as the creator and the image is not used for financial gain.

 

Reporting Infringement - We take the protection of our intellectual property seriously. If you become aware of any unauthorised use of our materials, please notify us immediately at

Legal Action - We will take legal action against any unauthorized use of our copyright materials.

 

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the Cathy's Art* website, without notice, for any conduct that we believe is in violation of these Terms of Service, any applicable law, or is harmful to the interest of another user or us.
