This painting is inspired by my love of flowers, using bold, bright green, turquoise tones to create the petals. As I wanted this piece to be dramatic I decided to paint the inner centres as Dragons Eyes. Using red, orange, yellow, white, black and brown tones for these. The background is painted black which really makes the subject stand out.

The painting is an original acrylic painting on a 30 x 20 cm stretched canvas.
