Original Acrylic Painting " Fairyland Flowers"

Fairyland Flowers is an original acrylic painting on a 12 x 16 inch stretched canvas with 3D flowers.

For this piece I wanted the flowers to stand out of the painting with a 3D look and feel. 
I created this piece using a glue gun to draw the outline of the flowers, then painted the inside of the petals using acrylic paints in tones of greens, reds, pinks and purples. The back ground is painted using a metallic pearl grey acrylic paint that has a slight shimmer. I then painted the glue petal outlines with a gold paint marker pen. The centre of each flower was painted with a dotting tool used for mandala art.
This is a striking bold painting with a boho hippie feel, creating that statement piece in any home.
