Original Acrylic Painting, "The White Stag"
"The White Stag" is an original acrylic painting on a 30 cm x 30 cm canvas board.
The inspiration for this piece came from my love of blossom trees, the colours and textures they have. I used a crushed plastic bag to create the texture for the background, applying the bag to the canvas when the paint was still wet. The painting is in tones of pink, pale pink, grey, silver and white. I used acrylic and metallic acrylic paints. I wanted to create a mystical scene so added the magical white stag under the tree, he is surrounded by shrubs and grass.
