Original Acrylic Painting "Summer Nature"

Summer Nature is an original acrylic painting on 8x10 canvas board.
The inspiration for this painting came from my love of sunflowers. The colours and textures, how they stand tall.
I wanted to create a natural scene so decided to capture a butterfly in flight about to land on the sunflower.
I painted this in tones of blues 💙 and purples💜. I wanted to show the sunflowers detail and textures and did this by a close up view of the sunflower 🌻, with a backdrop of the sky.
