Original acrylic painting "The Old tree"

"The Old Tree" is an original acrylic painting on a 16 x 12 inch stretched canvas.

I love trees and wanted to create a 3D tree for this painting. The background is painted in tones of yellows, oranges, a little violet, blues, greens, browns and white, with acrylic paints. The tree is drawn with a glue gun, then once dry painted with brown acrylic paint. Then with a layer of metallic bronze acrylic paints to give a sheen. 

The painting has a magical healing feel, the old tree has stood for hundreds of years, healing many people and animals. It is a powerful healing tree.
