"Green Leaves" hand painted leaf earrings

I love painting and I love jewellery. Here I have combined the two to create beautiful unique earrings with an original painting. Each earring is hand painted.

"Green Leaves" earrings, original acrylic paintings on wooden leaves. 

"Green Leaves" are hand painted in three shades of green and white acrylic paints. The veins are painted with a pearl yellow green metallic paint that has a shimmery effect. I also painted the edges in this shimmering paint.

The leaves measure 5 cm in length and 3 cm in width. I have added 2 silver tone rings and 925 sterling silver earring wires to each earring, (Stamped 925) The total length including ear wire is 7 cm. I have sealed the painting with a clear gloss topcoat, which gives a subtle sheen and protects the painting.
